Restoring a compromised Wordpress site through migration to ThirtyBees

Context

The original WordPress website had been compromised and became unreliable for further operation. The client needed to preserve the existing content, structure, and visual identity, while moving to a more manageable and consistent environment for products, orders, and ongoing content updates.

My role

Content migration planning, structure transfer, theme recreation, and rebuilding the project in a friendly, more stable and maintainable ThirtyBees environment.

Solution

I migrated the text and image content, menu structure, and both blog and product sections into ThirtyBees. The new theme was built to stay as close as possible to the original visual appearance, while the underlying environment was reorganized into a clearer and more manageable system. The goal was not only to recover the website, but also to move it into a platform with more consistent rules for daily work and lower exposure to the same type of failure.

Result

The client regained a working website with familiar visual continuity, but in a more stable and easier-to-manage environment. Content, products, and orders became more transparent to operate, and the overall setup reduced the likelihood of repeating the same type of security and maintenance problems.
